Dore Gardner

Throughout her career as an artist, Dore Gardner has received numerous grants and awards. Her photographs belong to such collections as the Corcoran Gallery of Art and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. They have been published in Aperture and other photographic publications and journals of contemporary criticism. Her work about the famed Mexican healer Nino Fidencio (‘Nino Fidencio: A Heart Thrown Open’) was published by the Museum of New Mexico Press. Dore is on the faculty at the School of the Museum of Fine Art at Tufts University. She is working on a photographic book project titled ‘Reverence, Dread and Wonder; My Year in Roswell’.
